SEKAI Electronics - cameras and camera systems for the military
American company SEKAI Electronics specializes in production of cameras and camera systems for use in the military. Unique technical solutions and robust design makes them suitable also in the toughest condition. The special feature is the high resistance to EMC.
In addition to cameras for the military, the company SEKAI offers also cameras for commercial aircrafts and the aerospace industry.
Sekai RSC-B100
The RSC-B100 is a high resolution camera that offer outstanding color fidelity and full, broadband response for high resolution color applications. This camera is excellent for airborne applications, and other harsh environments. Low light sensitivity is 3 lux at F1.2 thanks to the 1/2" Super HAD II CCD Imager. This camera offers many standard features in a compact package, including composite or Y/C output, high speed shutter, TTL (through-the-lens) auto/manual white balance, reverse imaging, and AGC on/off functionality.
Sekai RTC-HD103
The RTC-HD103 Rugged HD Block Camera utilizes a 1/3" CMOS 2.1 megapixel sensor, and provides high definition video in both 1080i (30 fps) and 720p (60 fps) formats. A high resolution or 3-CCD C-Mount lens is required to obtain the camera's full performance. Video output is provided through a single coax HD-SDI (BNC) connection.
Sekai RSC-A184
The RSC-A184 is a ruggedized high resolution color CCD camera with a compact variable field of view lens with motorized iris. The camera is specifically developed for harsh environments and applications where an optimal field of view is required. The motorized iris lens with NDspot filter adjusts automatically for changing light conditions providing a great dynamic range. These features lend themselves to Head-Up Display (HUD), and pilot's view applications.
Sekai RSC-BH313-XX
The RSC-BH313-XX is a ruggedized high resolution remote head color CCD HUD camera including a compact variable field of view lens with motorized iris (XX=length of round cable connecting remote head to EU, in feet). The camera is specifically developed for harsh environments and applications where an optimal field of view is required. The motorized iris lens with ND-spot filter adjusts automatically for changing light conditions providing a great dynamic range. Sensitivity has been doubled when compared to previous generation (from 2000 lx at F11), to 2000 lx at F8 for the RSC-BH313-XX.
Sekai RSC-1000
The RSC-1000 Series cameras incorporates a ¼" Super HAD CCD sensor and built-in 10X optical and 4X digital zoom lens, resulting in 40X zoom capability. Compact and lightweight the RSC-1000 Series cameras are Housed in an aluminum enclosure measuring 2.0" H x 2.0" W x 3.826" D and weighing less than 150g. Both NTSC composite video and Y/C video formats are available simultaneously, eliminating the need for selection of one or the other. A built in field meory (i.e. field store) and low shutter sheed (1/4 second) provide for long term exposure, deal for viewing low rep rate events. Manual or auto focus can be selected via keypad or remote controls. Up to six camera settings can be saved and recalled. Mirror image with positive or negative image capability available. Configurations include the use of local (RSC-1000K) or remote (RSC-1000KR) keypad for control of camera functions. Camera settings and control can be performed remotely from a host computer via the standard RS-232 or TTL level serial interface (specified at time of ordering).
Sekai RSC-B100E/X.X
The RSC-B100E/X.X ruggedized camera provides high performance in a small package for high resolution applications. A sealed housing protects the camera from the outside environment, extending the environmental operating specifications. Front protection glass and lens can be changed without removing the camera from the fixture. The flexible design allows for use with several different types of lenses. Low light sensitivity is 1.5 lux at F1.4 thanks to it's 1/3" Super HAD II CCD sensor. The camera offers many standard features in a compact package including: composite or Y/C output, high speed shutter, etc. Many camera functions can be controlled via the optional RS- 232 interface.
